We are a fast growing quality conscious establishment. It is located in Alleppey (also known as Venice of the East), which is a major attraction in the global industrial map for its indigenous coir Industry. Kanti Floor Furnishers, now in its glorious 79th year is one of the major exporters of coir and related products like coir mats, coir embossed mats, rubber mats and rubber embossed poly propylene door mats, jute rugs etc.

The company started off in 1930 as a manufacturing feeder unit of its parent organization,  M/s Commercial Emporium, which primarily dealt with exports. Kanti Floor Furnishers started exporting in its own name from 1956. The company is now cruising forward under the inspiring captaincy of Mr. Kalyana Sundaram. His 43 years of experience is a strong back up for the state of the art system established in the institution. The responsibility of the company is shared by its young and dynamic CEO Mr. K.Vinod. We have a fabulous collection of designs to satisfy the needs of even the most fastidious customers. The ever increasing demands of the customers have their dedicated personnel always on their toes.  

The company owns 3 factories viz. Bala Shearing Factory, Vinod Coir Works and MGM Exports. Situated amidst verdant greenery near the reputed backwaters, these factories are also a source of employment for the local villagers. Kanti Floor Furnishers has also leased manufacturing units in nearby Kottayam, changanassery and Thiruvalla. The latest software installed in these computerized units helps the company retrieve information with ease and very quickly. All manufacturing processes and purchase procedures are supervised by experts selected after intense filtering by the HRD wing led by the General Manager.

We exports an average of 40 containers every month. This is a proof enough for the fact that the company is committed to quality. The company Quality Inspection Department has well trained personnel whose vigilant eyes ensure the quality of each product. The raw materials and colours used are tested for safety in well established government laboratories. We were awarded the Gold medal for the best exporter in 1987-88 and the Silver medal is 1988-89 for best performance. It was also awarded the certificate of Merit in 1996-97. The company is also a certified ISO 9001:2000 unit which helps the employees navigate the rough seas of the production process with ease. The system sees the product through from its beginning to the finished stage, conforming to all International Standards. The Management system is taken care of and maintained by the General Manager. The Company is also awarded with BRC standard which ensures product and consumer safety.
